PSSC Labs founder Larry Lesser entered into the high performance computing arena in the late 1960s. Armed with three Engineering degrees from Boston University and Columbia University, he began working with Boeing on their prestigious Missile to the Moon program. His focus was developing software for various engineering applications. Mr. Lesser became proficient writing software on various computer platforms and eventually became President of organization writing steady state process simulation code. In 1984, Mr. Lesser in conjunction with other industry experts, started a company to develop early message passing software. This message passing software was developed in conjunction with Caltech's High Energy Physics Department. This early message passing software worked on state of the art computers of the time including Intel's Paragon, multi-headed Cray supercomputers, nCube, transputer systems and various other MPP supercomputers.
Today PSSC Labs proudly wears the badge of one of the oldest high performance computing companies in the industry.
