Cluster / Server Software Integrator

Job Requirements

In depth knowledge of Linux operating system (CentOS, Redhat, Fedora, Ubuntu) Some knowledge of Windows operating system a plus. 99% of our systems currently ship with Linux OS. Some knowledge of Virtualization a plus (VM Ware, Xen)
Experience installing Linux Cluster (Beowulf System)
Great understanding of TCP / IP Networking. Some knowledge of other networking protocols including Infiniband. Some knowledge of IPMI Remote Network Management Features
Great understanding of RAID configurations including setting up and testing Raid Arrays
Significant Experience installing and working with the following package, Message Passing
Interfaces (MPI), Batch Schedulers (Torque/Open PBS, Sun Grid Engine), System Imager
Ganglia Monitoring Systems
Significant Experience with establishing and navigating Network Firewalls and VPN's
Must have the ability to write custom scripts
Must have the ability to download and install RPMs
Must have the ability to update BIOS settings
Must have the ability to set up specific hard drive partitions
Knowledge of advanced hardware including GPUs (nVidia & ATI) , Server Platforms (AMD & Intel) , High Memory Systems , Infiniband Networking , 10GigE Networking

Job Responsibilities

Installation of various software packages onto tier 1 hardware platform
Support customers with the integration of system into computing environment (onsite and remote support)
